Community Outreach

Homelessness Outreach- S.O.A.R. has organized and operates several  transitional and permanent housing units for persons suffering from homelessness, mental and physical disability, drug addiction and other social and medical concerns.  Each home provides a safe and productive enviroment for our target populations enpowering our residents in the areas of conflict resolution, financial stability and employment, and overall quality of  life improvement.

Prostitution Outreach- S.O.A.R. provides free counseling, Home Placement Services and Employment Assistance. Further, the program provides assistance with family re-unification, employment counseling and job assistance.

Prison Ministries Program- This program provides inmates with written correspondence from S.O.A.R.staff.  Additionally, staff members provide visitation to inmates as well as an enrichement program.

Seniors Ministries Program- This program provides home and convelscent visitation to Seniors who are too ill to venture out on their own; it also provides meal service, transportation to important appointments, and shopping and health care visits.  Further, home maintenance services are provided as well as some gardening. 

Mobile Medical Clinic- These services will be provided to individuals in low-income areas of Riverside County as well as to Senior Cititzens who lack transportation. Part of these services includes pick up and delivery of prescription medication.  The mobile medical clinic also provides services to the homeless and to homeless shelters.

Performing Arts Academy- This program provides instrumental, vocal, dance, and drama instruction.  Further instruction is offered theater, music recording, and engineering.

Homeless Outreach

 Every Saturday at Fairmont Park in Riverside at 2PM, S.O.A.R. provides over 100 meals for the area's homeless population.  In addition to the meals, homeless individuals are able to receive First Aid, clothing, toiletries, and on-site counseling, if desired.

S.O.A.R. also provides home placement services for individuals seeking housing, as well as employment assistance and counseling.

Food Donations- S.O.A.R. works with area food banks and supplemental food providers to assist our housing residents and  those suffering from homelessness to receive quality nutritious meals as part of their housing program.
